Blessings for Board Exams
The Principal and staff of Mukat Public School bid adieu to students of classes X and XII. A Sukhmani Sahib Path was held so that students could get positive vibes and be stress free. The Head Boy Pahuldeep Singh and Head Girl Simran Guggal along with the most regular students of class XII were honoured with momentoes. The Principal addressed the students and wished them lots of fortune for the years to come and stirred the values of hard work and sincerity in them.
Class Function by I
Students of class I truly justified the theme of the class function and school motto "Sach Sewa Santokh" which means True Satisfaction is in selfless service, through an array of events. The function commenced with 'Shabad' seeking the blessings of the omnipotent. Students emboldened the audience to follow the path of truthfulness through didactic play and skits. The Scintillating dance performance by the kids enthralled the audience.
Career Guidance Program
Mukat Public School organised a career guidance and counselling workshop with Idream Career for the students of classes IX to XII on 30.1.19. Ms. Mukta certified C.B.S.E, IDC , FUEL Career Counsellor was invited to enlighten all the important topics related to career choices and guide all the participants towards a stable and right career choice.
Pariksha Pe Charcha
"Do not live life for examination, but should live life to attain knowledge." says Narendra Modi. Mukat Public school organised live telecast of Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's Interactive session on "Pariksha Pe Charcha". The Prime Minsiter urged the parents as well as teachers to recognize their abilities and strength and encourage their children to strive for better. The whole session was motivational and inspired everyone.
NSS UNIT OF MUKAT PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATED NATIONAL VOTERS’ DAY
NSS Unit of Mukat Public School celebrated National Voters’ Day on January 25, 2019. National Voters’ Day was initiated in 2011 to commemorate the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, which came into existence on January 25, 1950. Mukatians tried to make aware senior students and people in surrounding villages about their rights as Voters and encouraged them for effective participation in the electoral process. The theme of the celebration was Inclusive and Qualitative Participation. They urged to all the eligible voters, particularly youngsters to register themselves and use their right to vote to strengthen democracy through various activities like rally, pledge, speech, debate, quiz, drawing competitions.
Republic Day Celebration
India's 70th Republic Day was celebrated with great reverence in MPS. The students of preparatory wing made all bow in reverence to the brave freedom fighters. The event included lazium, presentation on national flag and so on.The whole wing echoed with patriotic fervour as Nursery students showcased their talent by performing a beautiful Dance on "Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani". The whole event enthralled the audience .
Class Function by II
Ethics play a critical role in shaping the individual’s behaviour within a society. Mukat celebrated its grade 2 function on the theme ‘Ethics’. Mukatians showcased their talent by presenting an iconic dance and a choir. ‘Erosion of moral values’ have become the concern of today’s life. To express this concern, Mukatians enacted a one act play. Over all, the whole event was heart touching and made everyone spell-bound.
REFLECTOR TAPE PASTING
Mukatians took initiative in commendable task of “Reflector Tape Pasting” as Reflective tapes are made mandatory by the government. NSS unit of Mukat Public School installed reflectors on vehicles so that the incident of road accidents can be curbed during the foggy season. Students urged the people to get all their vehicles fitted with reflectors to avoid any untoward incident especially at night and early hours.
Annual Function 2018
Honoring and appreciating the achievers with accolades, Annual Function for the session 2018-2019 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm at Mukat Public School, Rajpura. The Chief Guest Mrs. Sukhvinder Khanna(IRS), the much acclaimed Scholar and Principal Commissioner in Income Tax Department at Chandigarh presided over the function. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest. The programme based on the theme ‘NAVRAS’ included a series of thematic performances ranging from devotion to family values, patriotism and embraced various facets of society and culture. Chief Guest Mrs. Sukhvinder Khanna (IRS) bestowed the prizes to the most deserving students and motivated all to keep working hard with sincere endeavors. Annual Function concluded with vote of thanks and the National Anthem leaving behind a promise for handful of brighter hues the next year.
Annual Athletic Meet 2018
The much awaited Annual Athletic meet was held on Thursday 22nd November, 2018 with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. It was a fun filled day with children bursting with energy along with all the support from Principal Mrs. Gayatri Kaushal and Vice Principal Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur Sekhon and teachers. The series of events started with ceremonial torch lighting followed by activities like March Past, Lezium, Relay Race, Lemon and Spoon Race, Steeple Race, Shuttle Race and many more. Winners were recognized and awarded medals. The meet saw its Culmination with the National Anthem.
Dedication Day of S. Rajinder Singh Ahluwalia, Founder President of Mukat Educational Trust
Mukat Public School Rajpura celebrates 13th November as a “Dedication Day’ every year on the birth anniversary of founder President of Mukat Educational Trust S.Rajinder Singh Ahluwalia. This year Athletic Meet for Juniors was held to commemorate the sportsman spirit among students. Students from Nursery,L.K.G,U.K.G and Ist grade showed their sports skills on the tracks enthusiastically and filled the occasion with their colourful performances.The Chief Guest on this occasion was President of Mukat Educational Trust Mrs.Mandeep Ahluwalia Pahwa who appreciated and applauded the zest and zeal shown by the kids. Principal Mrs.Gayatri Kaushal on this occasion announced the opening of THE MUKAT TRUST INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL,RAJPURA from the coming session.The winners were graced with prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest and the Trustees.
Diwali Celebration - Preparatory Wing
Toddlers from Mukat Public School celebrated Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement. Children did “Lakshmi Pujan” followed by rhymes and presentation related to Diwali. Kids were informed about significance of the festival and they took oath not to burn crackers on this Diwali.
NSS Rally against Stubble Burning
Human activities like stubble burning not only deteriorates the environment but also hampers our health. NSS Volunteers of Mukat Public School, Rajpura took an initiative to aware the farmers of its ill effects caused by this air pollution by organizing a rally at Damanheri Village. Volunteers participated in the rally with full zeal and displayed placards of the slogans against stubble burning.
Salad making and Fireless Cooking Competition
Salad Making and fireless cooking competitions were organised at Mukat Public School. Students of classes IX to XII donned their chef caps to exhibit their culinary skills which was held on Nov 3, 2018 and Nov 5,2018.
Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. These competitions were to inculcate healthy food habits and awareness to intake nutritious food among youth. Cleanliness, taste and presentation were the basic criterion for the judgment.
These competitions not only provide a platform to exhibit their art and talent but also help them to explore their hidden potentialities.
Vigilance Day Celebration
Mukat Public School, Rajpura organised various activities on the occasion of “Vigilance Awareness Week 2018” conducted by CBSE and Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
The activities of the week started with Integrity Pledge to establish peace and security, creative essay writing and slogan writing competition on “corruption free India” followed by declamation competition on the topic “Eradicate corruption-Build a New India”The declamation competition judged by members of CGST division,Rajpura. Sh. Ramesh Kumar Gupta, Assistant Commissioner, CGST division Rajpura was the Chief Guest on this Occasion. Smt. Rekha Rani, Superintendent and Sh. Ankit Aggarwal, Inspector were the other dignitaries present. The Chief Guest distributed prizes among winners and highlighted the commendable work done by students.
National Unity Day Celebration
The 138th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel was celebrated enthusiastically by the students of the MUKAT PUBLIC SCHOOL on 31st Oct 2018 as National Unity Day. In line with the celebrations country wide, MPS following the mandate organized various activites in the school premises like unity for run, slogan writing in order to extend their heart felt appreciation about the life of the great leader Sr. Patel. The student speakers expressed their views on “Contribution of Sardar Vallabh Bhai for Unity, Safety and Security of India”. It was followed by oath ceremony where in the students and teachers took a pledge to stand for unity and integrity of the country.
Mukat the First School in Rajpura to hold MUN
MPS, Rajpura organized MUKAT MUN for the very first time in the city from 19th Oct to 21st Oct. It was a proud privilege for the Mukatians to hold sessions on the theme “ Water Crisis on Global Level” and “Wrangling Claims on South China Territory”. Model United Nations boosts the exposure to world problems and resolutions, builds the self-confidence and improves Public Speaking. Around 100 delegates from 12 different schools from Patiala, Chandigarh and Rajpura participated in the event. Training session was held on 19th Oct 2018 to aware the delegates about the working of MUN. President of MUKAT MUN Mr. Punit Ahluwalia encouraged the delegates to show their capacities as active participants. The chief guest of the event was Sh. HPS Lamba, an educationist from Patiala, who inspired the delegates with his very thoughtful and inspiring words. Principal Mrs. Gayatri Kaushal thanked the Chief Guest and all the dignitaries for their remarkable presence. Best delegates were awarded with trophies and certificates for the commendable participation in the sessions.
Class Function by III
The students of Grade III opened their class function with heart touching lyrics of the Prayer ” Teri Panah mein Hume rakhna”. The function was based on theme of morality. The function constituted of marvelous dance performances and a very solid message through presentation to stop the reckless use of plastic. They also motivated audience to imbibe the values of being more devoted towards mankind by helping others at the time of need. The audience was all thrilled and happy looking at these budding talents.
Adventure Camp
Adventure camp is a day that offers a welcoming, lively, safe, positive and diverse environment where children gain confidence and build self-esteem.
A fun filled adventure camp was organised on Sunday at Phagwara for students of class VII to XII and in School premises for Grade 1 to 6 on 8th and 9th October. The camp exposed campers to a variety of challenging and exciting activities included hamster wheel, burma bridge, zip line and many more. These activities helped to strengthen teamwork and personal accomplishment.
Group Song Competition
MPS received an invitation for group song competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Lakshmi Palace, Rajpura on Oct 7,2018. The student of the Mukat well participated and grabbed second position amongst six teams. The students melodiously sang a Hindi and Sanskrit composition and impressed the audience.
Class Function by IV
Students of IV Std presented an exemplary class function on the theme "Values". The entertaining performances constituted of yoga and a presentation on Moral values. These items were followed by Poetry Recitation ad classical dance. The confidence of grade IV students was well appreciated by the audience. The audience carried the message of spending quality time with their family regularly.
Class Function by Nursery
The tiny tots of Nursery presented gleeful performances for their class function. The large crowd cheered the cute pupils for their lovely dance steps on healthy habits. The kids entertained the audience by performing on Rhymes. The parents felt proud of their confident kids.
Mukat Organized Swachhta Pakhwada- Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat-September 2018
"Cleanliness drive for Swachh Bharat" In accordance with cleanliness drive started by our honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, the role of schools has been instrumental in realizing the mission of "Swachh Bharat". As the schools play a vital role in spreading the "Swachhta" awareness and implementation across the country, we observed "Swachhta Pakhwada" from 1st September to 15th September 2018. The drive included Poster Making, Oath Taking, Hand wash, Personal Hygiene Awareness, Letter Writing, Idea Sharing and much more. Students and the mentors pledged to raise mass awareness to achieve clean public space. Mrs. Gayatri Kaushal, Principal, in her noteworthy appreciation, mentioned the campaign as a daily discipline. Indeed the mass campaign has imprinted the young minds and their mentors with lifelong process for the benefits of all.
Janmasthami Celebrations
Prep Wing celebrated Janmasthami by organizing a special assembly. The students enacted the birth of Lord Krishna which was beautifully exhibited. The students looked very sweet and attractive in the costumes of Lord Krishna and Radha. The principal motivated the tiny tots to pray to Lord Krishna for happiness of their family and visit temple on Janmasthami.
Mukat Recieve National School award
Mukat Public School received National School Award in the category of Best Day Boarding School of the year 2018. In all 50 schools participated from India. It was received at The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi.
Inter School Declamation and Chess
Mukat Public school added an another feather to its cap by achieving prizes at Inter School declamation and chess at Narain smart school, Patiala. In group 1 Bhavya of class VI blue achieved first prize in declamation,. Aadit in group 2 of class IX red achieved 2nd prize in declamation. Savita bagged third Position Inter School chess.
Class Function By V
The opening act of class V function chanting of "Govind Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo" engrossed the audience to relish and look forward to rest of the Programme. The audience was touched by the play of "Eklavya". The assembly was admired by all parents who carried home a message with them leave a wonderful legacy for your children and future generations.
Independence Day Celebrations
The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated with a great fervor. The students of Primary wing were distributed with flags and were informed about the importance of tricolor in a flag. The students also recited poems based on patriotism. The students of class XI too presented an outstanding assembly. The play on jalianwala bagh incident and the present plight of Mother India followed by patriotic dance was enjoyed and applauded by all.
Class Function by VI
The students of class VI opened their class function with jingling sound of instruments while performing for the lords of universe. The function was based on the theme of Ancient India- Our Legacy.The most thrilling performance was of a Ballad depicting Ashoka Period. The Parents appreciated all performances and applauded all.
MPS awarded as Best School Per Resources by Indian School Awards 2018
The Indian Award function held at Chitkara University awarded Mukat Public School the Best School in the category of Best School per Resources. As many as 650 schools were invited and Mukat was amongst best 100. The Dean Mrs. Madhu Chitkara of Chitkara University appreciated the school for its well-raised infrastructure and its schemes. The school owns best infrastructure in 10 acres of land with a mini stadium. The school is Ist of its kind with a strong team of MUN and Alumni Association. The School delivers best academic results every year and its Alumni's too are well placed in India and abroad. The faculty of the School is very diligent and the school believes in helping its brilliant student through 'Pay it Forward' Scheme.

Tree Plantation
Mukat Public School organised a Tree Plantation Activity as part of Environment week. The students of Prep wing, class IX and X planted saplings in the school campus and also promised to nurture them till the years they are in school. This activity instilled in them a sense of responsibility towards the environment, to save planet earth for themselves, other species and generations to come.
IF You Were to Fly
Children love to fly but this flight too needs guidance. For giving wings to the dreams of aspirants to be pilots, the Mukat management organised a seminar. The seminar was presided by Captain Sonika Chabra, a commercial pilot from past 25 years and Captain Manpreet Ahluwalia, a commercial pilot from past 18 years and also trustee of Mukat Educational Trust. The seminar was very informative enlightening students of the pre-requisites required to be in the Aviation Industry. The presentation also included details about the life of a pilot. They shared how interesting, challenging and glamorous was the life of these two lady pilots who feel magical about flying on enormous machine Boeing 777. This seminar motivated all especially girls to develop their passion for flying and increase the percentage of female pilots in India.
Summer - Break Trip
Mukat Public School organised an adventurous trip to Chamba, Dalhousie and Khajjar. The trip for girls and boys was for three nights and four days. The students enjoyed paragliding, horse riding and trekking. After all potential-testing adventures the students had great time at DJ parties in their comfortable and luxurious hotels. In all it was a memorable for all students.

Class X It is the time for Mukat Public School to celebrate its victory. After the grand success of class 12th CBSE results, the class 10th graders have come out with flying colors. Nishant Arora brought laurels to the school by becoming city topper with 97.4%.Jasleen Verma, Kinshuk Verma and Jasanpreet Kaur shared the second position with 96.6% where as third position was bagged by Avneet Kaur with 96.4%.
Splash Pool Party
On the eve of summer break the students of Nursery were invited to have some aqua fun. Bubbling with zeal in their colorful swim wears thoroughly enjoyed the splash water and splashing water on their friends.
Investiture Ceremony
To give students an idea of the functioning of an administrative body and also infusing in them leadership traits the student council was framed at Mukat Public School, Rajpura. On the solemn occasion of Investiture ceremony the students took oath and were conferred with badges and sashes by the Principal Mrs. Gayatri Kaushal. Our President Mrs. Mandeep Ahluwalia Pahwa graced the occasion with her timely Presence and congratulated the student Council. The students swore into take up all responsibilities honestly and bringing positive amendments in school.
Medieval History- Our Legacy
The students of class VII received all praises after they presented a class function on the theme 'Medieval History-Our Legacy'. The class function constituted a dance performance depicting God is One. A motivating poem on Shivaji was well spoken. The Amazing facts on monuments were well presented.The function also included Teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The function ended with an entertaining dance performance giving glimpse of Akbar and his warriors.
Mother's Day @ Bestech
The Students of Mukat Public School got an opportunity to perform at Bestech Mall, Mohali on the occasion of Mother's Day.It was for the first time the students with all their confidence performed a play and a dance item in front of spontaneous audience. The Performance was well appreciated and received good response with a huge round of applause.
Measles-Rubella(MMR) vaccination campaign
As Per the directions of ministry of health and family welfare, Mukat public school organized vaccination camp for children upto the age of 15 years. The campaign aimed to rapidly build up immunity for both measles and rubella disease in community to eradicate them. The vaccination camp was a success with the contribution of the parents is bringing their children timely. It was all possible with the help of team of medical representation which arrived from A P JAIN Hospital.It was systematically arranged by the teachers as well that children got vaccinated different slots. They were also supervised and rendered additional protection after vaccination.
Flower Arrangement Competition at Mukat
Flower arrangement competition was organised to enhance the creativity of students. Students using variety of ideas participated from classes IX to XII.

Mother's Day Celebration at Mukat
A Special assembly presented by the students of class IX and Prep Wing Students on the theme of mother's Day. The assembly constituted of melodious songs sung by a group. The Play depicting orphans and their plight and later being adopted by a family was well executed to touch every heart. The nukkad natak and left a deep impact on the children making them realize the worth of their Parents.
Art and craft workshop at Mukat
Playing with colors and doodle work always acts as stress -buster. The workshops on art and craft was stress relieving especially when it was conducted by Ms. Shefali Shah who came all the way from Mumbai. Wide variety of techniques like Mandella Art, Teamwork Art and Entangle Art were imparted so that children feel empowered and any creative work is no longer a challenge for them.
Modern era of History - Our Legacy
Class Functions have become a tradition of Mukat Public School. The objective of these class function is to make children fearless and put away stage fright and exhibiting their embedded talents. Class VIII inaugurated the tradition for 2018-19 on the theme Modren Era of History our Legacy. The function constituted poetry composed by Rabindranath Tagore followed by melodious group song. The Play depicted some glimpses from 17th century. The most entertaining of all was the dance performance for paying tribute to revolutionaries like Mangal Pandey, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi. It Stirred the Souls of the audience as well as for the nation.
MPS Participated in Rally to Save Environment
On 20thApril 2018, a rally was organised by Punjab Pollution Control Board, in collaboration with Mukat Public School,Rajpura.The Objective of the rally was to create awareness regarding controlling of pollution and ban on burning plastic as well as harvesting waste.
The rally of students commenced from school influencing the public of adjoining villages like Damanheri, Pabri and Takhtumajra.The rally was spearheaded by S.S. Matharu (Environmental Engineer) and Dr. Rajiv Gupta (Astt. E.E.) and students raised slogans to save environment and live in pollution free environment.They took oath to take every step possible towards environment and their endeavours were appreciated by both villagers and pollution control board.
Baisakhi Celebration
The session of 2018-19 commenced with special assembly presented by students of class X and Prep on the Baisakhi. The assembly constituted of melodious shabad, Poems and interesting Plays. The Plays were truly inspiring as they stated a message to live contented in society with no discrimination and to understand the plight of farmers and learn to respect them. It was followed by entertaining dance performance which was appreciated by all.
