Science Exhibition

All great things begin with a small step and one such endeavour of MPS, Rajpura is the Science fest. It aimed as an initiative to encourage curiosity and originality in thinking. A science fest was held on Feb 10, 2020  celebrating the imagination and efforts of budding scientists of classes V & VI respectively. Every nook and corner of the wing got transformed into an area for ideation and application of different facets of science. It was indeed an enriching experience for the children.

Blessing ceremony for Board Examination

The Principal and staff of Mukat Public School bid adieu to students of classes X and XII. A Sukhmani Sahib Path was held so that students could get positive vibes and be stress free. The Head Boy and Head Girl along with the most regular students of class XII were honoured with momentoes. The Principal addressed the students and wished them lots of fortune for the years to come and stirred the values of hard work and sincerity in them.

 

Class Function I

To make everyone aware about Physical and Mental Fitness, a special class function of class I was organised in Mukat Public School, Rajpura on 1st February 2020. The class function was started with a presentation to create awareness among students and society to keep our surrounding clean. Students of class I performed a play on "Fit India Hit India". Choir, Dance and Yoga on the theme of Fit India were also acted on stage. The function was ended with a Pledge “ Not only Physically, but also Mentally Fit”.

 

Basant Panchami Celebrations

Basant Panchami was celebrated by the preparatory wing to mark the advent of the spring season. Goddess Saraswati – Epitome of learning was worshipped. Students adorned themselves with props of yellow colour – representative of spiritual knowledge. Kite flying was the main attraction of today’s celebration. Principal ma’am blessed the students and wished them good luck. Budding Dancers mesmerized every one with their fantabulous dance performance.

 

Republic Day

Mukat Public School, Rajpura celebrated India’s 71st Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 25th January 2020. Keeping the spirit of patriotism alive, a special assembly was conducted by the students of Kindergarten. The rich culture and diversity of our country was showcased through a stupendous dance performances, presentation and rhyme competition. To widen the knowledge on the day school also organised quiz of class LKG on general awareness about our country and great leaders. The assembly concluded with a medley of Patriotic Song followed by the National Anthem.

 

Pariksha Pe Charcha

The students witnessed the live running of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020 in which the honourable Prime Minister answered the question asked by the questions asked by the students all over India.

 

Class Function II

Students of class II justified the theme of the class function “Indian Constitution” through an array of events. Students paid obeisance to Lord Ganesha ‘The Vighan Harta’ through Ganesh Vandana. It was scintillating pack of dance, Street play, English play and Yoga. Presentation on national symbols was apprised by everyone. Overall the function enlightened the audience and left everyone spell bound.

 

Class Function III

Students of grade 3 presented class function on the theme River’s. English Play on Kedarnath tragedy was applauded by all. Importance of rivers and the need to save them was meticulously exhibited through Presentation, Song and Hindi Play. It was altogether a great show.

 

Quiz Competition of class U.K.G

To encourage the students to widen their knowledge on General awareness, Mukat Public school Rajpura had organized Quiz Competition on 18th January 2020 of class U.K.G. Little champs were well prepared and competition was very tough. All the participants were awarded with certificates and gifts. The winners of the quiz were awarded with prizes.

 

Christmas Celebration

Preparatory wing of M.P.S celebrated Christmas Eve with full of zeal of vigour. The day started with special assembly which was beautifully filled with dance, rhymes, and stories on Christmas festival. After the assembly, Santa Claus distributed sweets and candies among students. Students also enjoyed delicious cake with their friends. The assembly concluded with meaningful message conveyed to students to play outdoor games in these winter vacations along with their family. The day was totally adorned with Christmas festivities in the air.

Workshop on Drones

Scholars Hub and IDT organised workshop on modern aged drones known as ‘Quad Copters’. This value based technical knowledge from assembling of drones to flying them engraved the roots of curiosity among the anxious students. Participants showed great enthusiasm during the entire workshop and lot of exhilaration during the drone test flying sessions.

Kanagro Industries Ludhiana, Cremica Biscuit factory Rajpura and RSW Coroparks Rajpura Industrial visit

Mukat Public School Rajpura arranged visits to industries (Kangro Industries Ludhiana, Cremica Biscuit factory Rajpura and RSW Coroparks Rajpura) for the science and commerce students. It was an astonishing and informative experience for all students. They practically learnt the working of technology. All their queries was patiently handled by the AGM- HR and by the innovative staff. The visits to different industries were systematic and hospitable too..

Annual Function 2019

With joy , exhilaration and enthusiasm Mukat Public School, Rajpura celebrated its 24th Annual Function on 29th November 2019. The Chairperson, MET Mrs. Sandeep Ahluwalia , President and Trustees received the worthy Chief guest Mr. Kumar Amit, DC Patiala. The function based on the theme ‘Ruk Ja Re Bande’ Was an appeal to the audience to put a halt to their ruthless activities and focus more on sustainable development. The series of scintillating performances ranged from shabad on the 550th birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji to global issues on the plight of farmers, women and rivers. The most applauded performances were the technology dance, the robotic dance and cultural folk dance Bhangra. The Chief guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious students and in his speech congratulated all merit holders, performers and galaxy of management for their endeavors.

Annual Athletic Meet 2019

November 13, The Re – dedication day of Mukat Public School was celebrated as Annual Athletic Meet and Annual Function upto class II. To grace the occasion Mr. Shiv Kumar, SDM was invited as the Chief Guest. To welcome the dignitaries the Galaxy of Mukat Management and Principal of the school presented a sapling. The function commenced with a synchronised March Past of Houses and releasing of Balloons. The function constituted Cultural Extravaganza and Athletic Events. The dazzling and colourful performances inspired the athletes and amazed the audience. The order of athletic events included challenging yet interesting set of events. The chief guest gave away the prizes to the swift athletes who understood the value of a nano-second. The best athlete trophy from class 12th was bagged by Paramveer Singh from boys and Arshjot Kaur from girls. Muktanandan House achieved overall trophy.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebration

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was celebrated in the school on 31st Oct, 2019 to commemorate the 144th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. In line with the celebrations country wide , MPS following the mandate organized various activities in the school premises like March Past, Painting Competition, Quiz Competition followed by oath ceremony wherein the students and teachers took pledge to stand for unity and integrity of the country .It was a perfect tribute to the great man.

Diwali Pujan , Diya & Candle Decoration, Rangoli Making Competition

With an excitement of the festive season in the air Mukatians unfolded their creative talents in a string of activities held in the school campus. Tiny tots worshipped goddess Lakshmi and pledged to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali. Zealous students showcased their artistic skills in Diya Decoration and Rangoli Making Competition. Colourful Rangolis and beautifully adorned Candles and Diyas were a feast to the eyes.


SALAD MAKING & FIRELESS COOKING COMPETITION FOR CLASSES (IX TO XII)

Festivities of Diwali were ushered in by Mukat Public School through Salad Making Competition for classes (IX-X) and Fireless Cooking competition for classes (XI-XII). The students participated with lot of enthusiasm and displayed their culinary skills. It was a treat to watch them cutting vegetables, tossing salads and stirring up meals for their judges. Team work, problem solving skills and effective communication were executed by each team. Participants were judged on the basis of their presentation, creativity, innovative quality, nutritional value and taste. The room was filled with a variety of artistic and creative styles of salads and meals.


Say No To Crackers

Let’s fill out mind and homes with lights and flowers, not explosives and fumes. With the view, Prep Wing of Mukat Public School celebrated the festival of Diwali with gaiety. Special assembly was on the topic “ Say No To Crackers.” Students were guided to save our mother earth. They were motivated to make use of earthen lamps instead of Chinese lights and to eat fruits instead of impure sweets. An exciting quiz was also conducted. This quiz was truly a great learning experience.


School Picnic(VII to X)

A trip to the Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala, was organised by Mukat Public School, for the students of grade VII to X on Tuesday i.e 1st October, 2019. Almost every branch of science was exhibited in the science city. The students visited the space and aviation gallery, climate change theater, dome theater, amazing living machine, Energy virtual reality gallery etc. They were amazed to see the real life experiences of science. It was an informative and enjoyable visit for the students where they were exposed to the many realms of science.


Student Solar Ambassadors Workshop

Following the thought of Gandhi Ji “ Not mass production but production by masses is required ” , Students of Mukat Public School made an effort to practice non-violence towards nature by tapping Solar Energy for human cause. The young Solar Ambassadors learnt how to make the Solar Study Lamp and pledged to adopt solar energy by surrendering the carbon based fuel energy. 

School Picnic(III to VI)

MPS believes their students to give a holistic approach towards life, Believing in the spirit of Adventure, Students of classes III – VI were taken on a school picnic to the Indus Valley resort on 28th September 2019 . Students were excited and delighted to see the activities planned for them. They enjoyed themselves by doing certain activities like Burma Bridge, Hop Skotch, Net Climbing, Balancing Beam etc. It was indeed a wonderful day filled with fun and frolic for all.


Nursery Class Function

Nursery students of Mukat Public school, Rajpura regaled their parents who fully enjoyed their class function. The Tiny tots danced and frolicked on the beats of “Khelo India, Fit India” . They beautifully threw light on keeping the environment neat and clean and save water for future. The day was made special as they were made aware of ‘Environment through educative and exciting manner’.


CBSE Hub of Learning Meet September 2019

The September activity under Hub of learning was organised at Mukat Public School where Ms. Banipreet and Ms. Mamta from DPS , Patiala headed as the resource persons. The Theme of the workshop was “Parts of speech with a special emphasis on Tenses”. The workshop was attended by English faculty from various schools. The Workshop constituted many engaging and exciting techniques to make children grasp the tools of grammar i.e parts of speech. Difference between various Prepositions was more of an eye - opener for many. The videos were exceptionally interesting to grip the rules of grammar and if shown, children could learn by singing. The concept of Tenses can be delivered well by narrating a story was another highlight of the workshop. It was a great learning experience for each faculty member. The workshop ended with a stirring activity with a hope it could be implemented in class.


Santulan-A Workshop by Acharya Mitra

Mukat Public School organised a session titled as “Santulan” for Mukat faculty. The session was presided by Acharya Mitra, Who is an eminent Yoga Practitioner and Counsellor. His deep knowledge of Yoga and its varied aspects were ancient yet scientific. However the research is still sustaining to tread upon this path. The knowledge points delivered were too subtle but its nuances were unfathomable. The secret mantra of speaking “It’s Ok!”, “So What” and “Nothing Matters” were extremely encouraging to combat unpleasant or difficult circumstances clicked all. The meditation towards the culmination of the session was a stress – buster. In all, the session give each one a blissful experience and was unimaginably fruitful.


Prize distribution –Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat

The prize distribution ceremony for swachh Bharat- Swachhata Pakhwada was held on 16th September,2019 at Mukat Public School an initiative issued by CBSE, which enlisted a 15 days programme from 1.9.2019 to 15.9.2019 with various activities like Essay Competition, Slogan Writing, Letter Writing, Painting and drawing, Green School Drive, Swachhata Participation, Community outreach etc. to promote cleanliness. Winners were presented with certificates & Mementos acknowledging their accomplishments. The competitions were based on awareness and promotion of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.


Teacher’s Day Celebration

“A good teacher can inspire imagination and instill love for learning”

Teacher’s day is celebrated every year on 5th September that is the birth anniversary of India’s second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. To celebrate this special day a trip to Indus Valley Adventure Resort was organised for teachers to experience some adventure. The visit was enjoyed to the fullest that included challenging activities like crossing Burma Bridge, Wall Climbing and some spontaneous activities. All teachers relished fun and frolic to the core.


Swachta Shapath Day

Mukat Public School began the Swachta Abhiyaan quite enthusiastically on 2nd September, 2019 with Swachta Pledge. The students and staff solemnly pledge to do their best to clean and to keep surrounding free from filth and unhygienic conditions.


Fit India Movement

It was a day full of strength and vigour as the school organised live telecast of ‘FIT INDIA MOVEMENT’ launched by our worthy PM Sh. Narendra Modi. Plethora of activities for keeping fit such as outdoor games, regional dances to uplift and aware children on how to keep ourselves physically & mentally fit were the part of the event. Students were filled with enthusiasm and took a pledge to follow the path shown by PM Sh. Narendra Modi to bring change in   lifestyle to possess.

Janamashtmi Celebrations

Preparatory wing celebrated Janamashtmi with all passion and zeal on August 23, 2019. Tiny tots donned the roles of “Lord Krishna and Gopikas” amongst many other characters related to Janamashtmi. “Matki Fod” event marked the day with more fun and frolic. The day also made awareness about Indian tradition, custom and culture.

Inter School Hub of Learning Sports Tournament

Glorifying the cutting edge of victory, MPS, Rajpura organized Inter School Hub of Learning Sports Tournament on August 17, 2019. The grandeur of this event is truly unmatched in the city which becomes a spectacle to behold for all those witnessing it in which following schools participated:

Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day at Mukat was celebrated with absolute patriotic fervour. Students in the Kindergarten wing were all dressed in traditional attires and presented wonderful dances. They were all distributed with flags and conveyed the importance of tricolor. The celebrations also included presenting of special assembly by the students of class XI. The melodious tracks for the nation moistened the eyes of audience. The play on the “Life of a Solider” touched every heart and made students realize about the life of selfless and altruistic soldiers. The instilled patriotism was stirred by a marvelous dance performance in the end. The Principal, lauded the PPt students who enlightened students with new schemes of new India. In all, the day left all establish more love for nation.

 

Class Function IV

“Courage is not the absence of fear, Courage means to overcome the fear.”

Enthusiastic students of class IV meticulously presented the theme of ‘Vinay, Veerta and Shorya’. The function was beautiful amalgamation of various hues. An English play instilled bravery and courage among students. Theme based dance, yoga, poetry made everyone spellbound. Overall the function enlightened the audience.

Class Function V

Enthusiastic students of class V presented class function on the theme 'Rivers'. It was scintillating pack of dance, poetry, yoga and play. Yoga with Aerobics added icing to the cake. Presentation on 'Hindi Play' apprised everyone. Overall the function enlightened the audience and left everyone spell bound.

MATH - E- MAGIC Quiz

“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations or algorithms. It is about understanding.”

Mathematics quiz was organized for classes IV and V to help the students to think from different Perspectives. There were four teams Number Ninja, Calculations, Shapers and Practitioners. The Teams participated meticulously in all the four rounds of questions. Enthusiastic audience also actively participated in it. Practitioners Team won the quiz. It was altogether a fruitful and interactive event for all.

Model Making Competition

Model making competition was organised for students of classes IX-XII on 20th July 2019. The purpose of the competition was to identify the untapped talent and skills in all 55 teams came forward participation in group of 3 or 4 modules like Hydraulic track, Hydrophonic system, mobile water level indication and road safety and energyconservation won appreciation and cash prizes.

Class Function VI

The theme for the class function of Grade VI “Vinay Veerta Shaurya” was presented meticulously by the students. The function was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme wondrously. Presentation on Paramvir Chakra recipients enlightened the audience. English Play was enacted to project kindness and courage among the audience. Theme based Song, Poetry captivated the Guests. The function culminated by awarding the academic achievers.

In - Service Teachers Training 2019 

Mukat Public School organised workshops for its faculty to recharge their energy and add interesting teaching methodologies in their regular teaching. The meditation sessions by the brahamkumaris rejuvenated all. Their tips that could be adapted in real life to live smoothly were very impressive. The other workshops included training and hands on practise for Extra Marks Smart Class. The session presided by Ms. Inderjeet Kaur for motivating teachers was thoroughly enjoyed from Macmillan by all. The Workshop for Hindi helped teachers in improving their general skills , improve overall organisation and improve educational technology knowledge.

 

 

Splash Pool Party

Endearing Angels of Nursery enjoyed an exciting Splash Pool Party before they start off with their summer vacation. Tiny tots plunged into the cool water pool, splashed water on each other, enjoyed dance and slides to their fullest. Ambrosial snacks enhanced their pleasure. Fresh water washed way all the heat and exhaustion from their body.

 

 

Fruit Day Activity – Prep Wing

MPS Kindergarteners participated in fruit day activity with full zeal and enthusiasm. Tiny tots enlightened everyone about the importance of fruits through their presentation, song and dance performance. Quiz activity on fruits was enjoyed by the little champs. The winners were applauded with prizes. The fun filled activity culminated a promissory note by the students “To eat healthy and stay healthy”.

 

 

Investiture Ceremony-2019

Another significant day is added in the history of Mukat as students from classes V to XII were elected as members of student council on the investiture ceremony day. On this special day the management members : President Mrs. Mandeep Ahluwalia Pahwa and Trustee Mrs. Tapinder Kaur along with Principal Mrs. Gayatri Kaushal pinned-up the badges to the young leaders . These leaders in their oath promised to uphold the dignity of the school. The head boy and head girl read their promissory notes to dedicatedly work for the institute. The program also included beautifully weaved dance performances that stirred patriotism. The Principal in her speech congratulated all members and motivated them to work diligently.

 

 

Mother’s Day Celebration - Prep Wing

“God could not be everywhere and therefore he made Mothers."

Keeping this bonding emotion in mind, We at Mukat Public School had a special celebration on Mother's Day. There were many fun filled games organized for mothers of tiny toddlers like tongue twister, blind fold games, talent show etc. The tiny tots presented colourful cultural programs dedicated to their mothers. Welcome song, rhymes and emotional dance performances by the students dedicated to their mothers won huge applause from the audience. . The celebration ended with the session of “Lucky Mother -2019”.

 

 

Special Assembly - Mother’s Day Celebration

Mother’s Day was celebrated with full zeal and zest in Mukat Public School, Rajpura. A special assembly was organised by grade IX. The assembly started with beautiful song on the beauty of motherhood. Students shared beautiful thoughts about how a mother is special in everyone’s life through one act play. A beautiful acrostic poem prepared by students was read out. It gave us an insight into the lovely feelings embedded deep inside their hearts. This was followed by a short skit on the importance of mother. The assembly concluded with a heart touching dance, which touched the emotional chord of one and all present there.

 

 

Class Function VII

Enthusiastic students of class VII presented class function on the theme ‘Rivers’. Scintillating Pack of dance, poetry, yoga, plays held the audience in awe. Presentation on ‘Indus Water Treaty’ apprised everyone present. Musical choir added icing to the cake. Overall the function enlightened the audience and left everyone spell bound.

 

 

CBSE BOARD RESULT-2019

It is a moment of jubilation as CBSE declared class X and XII results.Mukat begets two City Toppers in XII std from Medical and Humanities stream. Akriti Goyal a City Topper of Medical Stream achieved 96.6 % . Arpit Verma from Non Medical secured 95.4% . Mansi Dhiman of commerce grabbed 95.8% and Diksha another city topper of Humanities secured 95.6%. In all 46 students achieved 90% and above and 134 achieved 80% and above.In class X the topper was Jiya Singh she scored 96.2% the second position was shared by Gurleen Kaur & Aarti with 95.4%.The result was 100%.In all 27 students got above 90% and 73 students scored above 80%. The Management, Principal and faculty are all proud and elated.

Science Quiz Competition

An Exciting Science Quiz Competition was held on 27th April,2019 in Mukat Public School. This quiz was divided into five rounds - General Thinking Round, Question Transfer Round, Buzzer Round, Visual Round and Rapid Fire Round. Every round was a mixed bag with interesting questions. Newton team bagged the first position. Gaurang of V-Yellow and Devik of V-Maroon got appreciation certificate. This quiz was truly a great learning experience.

 

Flower Arrangement Competition

“Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature”.

Flower arrangement competition for classes XI and XII was organised in school on 27th April,2019. Students arranged the flowers on the theme of “Live with peace and Humanity”. The Winners are as follows:

Class Function VIII

Students of class VIII justified the theme of the class function ‘ Vinay, Veerta, Shuarya’ through an array of events. Students paid obeisance to ‘Lord Ganesha – The Vighanharta’ through Ganesh Vandana. A glittering bonanza of Music, Poetry, Play, Mime, and Dance were staged paying a tribute to the brave soldiers. Yoga and Zumba enthusiasts gave a scintillating performance. Presentation on recipients of gallantry awards apprised the audience. Function held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated.

 

Honouring Alumna Sanya Chhabra Who Scored 84th Rank in UPSC Civil Services Examination

Mukat Public School,Rajpura relished moments of gratification when their Ex-student Ms. Sanya Chhabra sieged the dignity of being an IAS Officer after achieving 84th Rank in ALL India UPSC Civil Services Examination. The School invited Ms. Sanya Chhabra to honour her and to share her journey as how she achieved this challenging designation. Through her speech she expressed her gratitude for the school being a pivotal force and motivated the Mukat Students to be dream chasers. The Management and Principal honoured Ms. Sanya  with a traditional Phulkari and congratulated the proud family.

 

Earth Day Celebrations

Cheerful students of Mukat Public School celebrated the World Earth Day on 22nd April, 2019 with much enthusiasm. The aim was to sensitize the students towards their role addressing global environment challenges at grass root level. Banners and colourful charts were put up reading "Go Green" and 'Plant a tree Today'. Children learnt the importance of preserving the planet Earth. A tree plantation drive was also organised at the campus. It was a great day to showcase environmental education, highlight efforts to green the school and engage the whole student community in making a difference. Nanha Prayas, Rajpura [NGO] also attended this green drive and motivated students .

Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration

Mukat Public School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti with traditional fervour and gaiety.The day started by seeking the blessings of Almighty through Ardaas and Shabad. A beautiful play was staged by students on fundamental rights and duties. Few students orated the history and importance of Baisakhi. A foot tapping performance ( Punjabi Dance) was presented by the students. A poem was also recited by the students paying gratitude to the farmers. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms. Gayatri Kaushal Congratulated and appreciated all the students for giving such scintillating and vivacious performance.
